Hello! We are Clara and Arthur.
We are a couple passionate about photography and pets. Since childhood, we've always had pets, but we didn’t have many good photos to remember our first furry friends.
The absence of these memories was the spark that ignited our career.
After specializing in photography, we began working with maternity shoots, family portraits, and even children's birthday photography. But pets have always been our greatest passion, so we decided to focus solely on them and their families.
In 2015, we specialized in pet photography and founded Duetto Fotografia Pet.
Our mission is to turn today's simple moments into cherished memories for tomorrow.
Everything happens so quickly, and what remains are the memories of an incredible life spent alongside our beloved pets.
We understand the importance of having quality photos of our pets, after all, we are photographers who feel the emotion and joy of capturing every game and every charming look of our own four-legged companions.
MIKE
Mike's Story - Our Canine CEO
Mike was my great companion and the beginning of everything. Adopted when he was still a puppy, he brought joy that marked my life. A poodle-cocker mix, he had a unique personality, grumpy and sweet at the same time. In the first 4 years of his life, I was not yet a photographer and only took pictures of him with my cell phone. Later, when I started studying photography, he was my first model and since then, every year we did a professional photo shoot with him.
It was 13 years of mischief, grumbling and unforgettable moments. He even became CEO of Duetto Fotografia Pet!
In 2023, we faced the biggest challenge of our lives: Mike was diagnosed with cancer. After surgery and the beginning of palliative treatment, we knew the end was near. It was then that I made one of the most important decisions of my life – to hold a farewell photo shoot. With his reduced mobility and poor appetite, it seemed like he understood the importance of that moment. That day he played, ate all the food I had brought in a little bowl for him, drank water, and we exchanged a lot of love and affection in a moment just for us. It was unforgettable!
Mike, even in his final days, showed me that love is eternal.
Recording those moments was like transforming pain into tangible love. And this experience, so personal and unique, made me understand even more the importance of my work with Duetto. Today, these are the last happy memories I have of Mike, and this connection helps me deeply understand what our clients feel at all stages of their pets' lives, including at the end of their lives. Immortalizing these moments is more than a mission; it is a necessity that I know firsthand.
Meg
Meg's Story - Our PAWssistant
Meg is a much-loved pet by my family. From the first few days we arrived home, she showed us her sweet and companionable nature. However, in the early years, I only had a few photos taken on my cell phone to remember the special moments with her. At that time, I wasn't a photographer, and I never had the opportunity to record my previous pets the way I always wanted.
It was only when I became a pet photographer with Clara that I was finally able to capture Meg's essence as she deserved. Every walk, every lick, every moment of affection was immortalized with the quality and care I always wanted to have with my other dogs. Now, I can relive these memories even more intensely, knowing that every stage of her life is recorded.
Meg has faced some challenges, such as dysplasia and surgery to remove a tumor. But even with these difficulties, she never lost her sweetness and motivates us to continue each day. Always ready to make new friends, Meg has an incredible ability to bring joy to everyone she meets. Photography has allowed me to capture these moments and relive them whenever I want.
Every click reminds me how special she is, and that gives me the strength to continue caring for her with all the love she deserves.
